Reliance Industries receives green nod for drilling wells
Reliance Industries has received green nod for drilling 8 additional exploratory wells to ascertain the reservoir capacity and commercial viability of hydrocarbons at DY-III-D5 block off the coast of Tamil Nadu under New Exploration Licensing Policy-III.
The total cost for the project is expected to be around Rs 800 crore. RIL has already been given the environment clearance to drill 11 exploratory wells in the block.

Adani Ports raises fund via NCDs
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) said that it has raised Rs252 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis.
The company raised Rs252 crore on July 4, 2016, by allotment of 2,520 rated, listed, secured, taxable, redeemable and non-convertible debentures of the face value of Rs10 lakh each on private placement basis.

L&T secures export order from MHPS
Larsen & Toubro ( L&T) said it has secured export orders worth $71.3 million (around Rs480 crore) from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Ltd ( MHPS) through its joint venture companies.
The contract of L&T- MHPS Boilers Private Ltd (LMB), a joint venture (JV) of the company, includes supply of pressure parts for a 2x1, 000 MW power plant in Indonesia and includes furnace header, panel, coils and piping.

Alembic has settled case with Takeda and will launch its generic as per terms of settlement – Positive for Alembic.
The company has received tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Febuxostat tablets, 40 mg and 80 mg.
