Ashok Leyland rose nearly 4%, touching to  Rs91.95, after the company reported 31% growth in total sales to 12,209 units in December 2015 over December 2014.

Punj Lloyd has bagged 4 highway EPC projects in Bihar (4 laning of 60km of Simaria-Khagaria worth Rs567 crore), Chattisgarh (4/6 laning of 48km of Raipur-Simga section worth Rs513 crore), Odisha (4 laning with paved shoulders of 50km of Talebani-Sambalpur section worth Rs392 crore) and Punjab (4 laning with paved shoulders of 35km of Tallewal-Barnala section amounting Rs83 crore, 30% company stake in JV).
