• Mahindra launches two products on the Supro platform
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has launched two new products on the new Supro platform. The Supro Van is an 8-seater diesel vehicle with capacity to seat 8 passengers and targeted at the large family and rural segment. The Supro maxitruck is a load carrier with a payload capacity of 1-tonne suitable for intra city transport solution.
                                                                                                       
• Essar Oil commences vadinar refinery operations
Essar Oil has commenced operations at its refinery at Vadinar in Gujarat on October 17, 2015. This step has been taken as the planned shutdown related activities have been successfully completed by the company. The company had earlier informed about the planned shutdown at its Vadinar refinery for a period of 30 days from September 18, 2015 to October 17, 2015.
                                                                                                                                                                                          
• JK Lakshmi Cement gets green nod for Bihar project
OMC’s JK Lakshmi Cement has got green nod for setting up of a clinker grinding unit with a capacity of 1.5 million tonnes per annum along with 10 MW DG set and autoclaved aerated concrete block in Kishanganj district in Bihar, entailing an investment of Rs300 crore.The company has installed cement making capacity of over 9 million tonnes per annum across the country.
                                                                                                                                                                                           
• NBCC bags project in Telangana
 NBCC has bagged a Rs126.33-crore project in Telangana for carrying out civil works at different colleges of Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) in the state. • Sunil Hitech Engineers bags two road EPC projects
Sunil Hitech Engineers has been awarded two orders worth Rs474 crores in the State of Bihar from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India on Engineering, Procurement & Construction    ( EPC) Mode. The order has been awarded to Sunil Hitech - RCM JV and is part of National Highways Interconnectivity Improvement Project which is funded by World Bank.
                                                                                                                                                                               
• Infosys to acquire Noah Consulting for US$70 mn
 Infosys has approved to acquire 100% stake in Noah Consulting LLC, head quartered in Houston, Texas ( USA), a leading provider advanced information management consulting services for the oil and gas industry. The Company further informed that none of the promoter or promoter group or group companies have any interest in Noah Consulting LLC and this acquisition does not fall under the related party transaction.
