NHPC has received environmental clearance for its Dibang multipurpose hydropower cum flood moderation project (2880 MW), worth over Rs25,000 crore, in Arunachal Pradesh – positive for NHPC.

• GAIL signs preliminary deal with Shell for sale of LNG
GAIL has signed a preliminary deal with Shell for the potential sale of liquefied natural gas ( LNG) supply sourced from its portfolio, made up of US production.

• Claris Life sciences surges on sale of injectible biz reports
Shares of Claris Life sciences jumped 12% to Rs313 on the BSE, accompanied by heavy volumes, after an Economic Times report suggested that Cadila Healthcare has emerged as the front runner to acquire the generic sterile injectables business of the company.The stock turned volatile after opening at Rs323 on the BSE. It has touched high of Rs 331 and low of Rs 300 so far.

• Glenmark gets tentative ANDA approval for Rufinamide Tablets USP
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has been granted tentative approved last week by United States Food & Drug Administration (US FDA) for its Rufinamide Tablets USP, 200 mg and 400 mg, a therapeutic equivalent of Banzel Tablets of Eisai, Inc. Under the terms of settlement agreement between Glenmark and Eisai, Glenmark will be permitted to market this product in the United States on May 30, 2022 or potentially earlier under certain circumstances.

• Godrej Prop sells over 200 apts at launch of Godrej icon
Mumbai-based real estate developer, Godrej Properties");'> Godrej Properties said that it has sold over 200 apartments of its recently launched residential project Godrej Icon, in Sector 89A/88A, Gurgaon. The company has sold over 200 apartments, with an area over 400,000 sq. ft. in just three weeks at the launch of its residential project, Godrej Icon, in Sector 89A/88A, Gurgaon, the company said.

Strides Arcolab  announced that Strides Pharma Global, Singapore and Strides (Australia) Pharma, Australia, both subsidiaries of Strides Arcolab have signed definitive agreements with certain wholly owned subsidiaries of Aspen Pharmacies Holdings, a company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exhchange (Aspen), to acquire a generic pharmaceutical business in Australia together with certain branded pharmaceutical asset.

• PTC India to call for bids from solar project developers
